Congratulations to GNC PhD student, Laura Boullon (pictured here in the middle), who won best oral communication prize in the 20th conference of the Spanish Society on Cannabinoid Research (SEIC) held on Barcelona 21st-23rd November.
Laura presented her work entitled “Sex-dependent nociceptive behaviours in a peripheral model of neuropathic pain: is there a role for the brain’s endogenous cannabinoid system?”
Her doctoral research is funded by an IRC Laureate award to her supervisor, Dr Álvaro Llorente-Berzal.
